Job Role


Carry out the management of prices according to the guidelines and plans established by the company. Verify trending and monitor external information of the market, competitors, products, prices, and seasonality among others. Develop pricing strategies and verify competition prices, product lines, and market trends. Act on the viability of rates, rules, trade policies, and promotions, as well as conduct follow-up studies of prices and costs to ensure the profitability of the goods or to create new product prices. Calculate the cost planned for new products. Serve as a support for business analysts and the sales team in the affairs related to the pricing of sales orders and commercial policy of the group. Design and manage information systems to ensure the accuracy of information for the company's decision-making processes of pricing information on the market, competition, and consumer behavior


Job Responsibilities


  • Cost Price Calculation

Set up and develop data modeling tools and algorithms to calculate the best cost price and/or project estimates.

  • Market Analysis

Collect and analyze market data and intelligence to inform marketing and sales plans.

  • Operational Compliance

Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. OR Identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Data Collection and Analysis

Conduct research using primary data sources and select the information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

  • Data Exploration

Conduct research and select relevant information to enable an analysis of key themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.

  • Solutions Analysis

Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.

  • Information and Business Advice

Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues, and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.

  • Data Management

Manage basic aspects of the data management system with guidance from senior colleagues. This includes being responsible for developing or operating basic elements of the data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes.

  • Performance Management

Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance. OR Manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold them accountable for achieving these, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal objectives.

  • Leadership and Direction

Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan, and the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.


Education

  • University Graduate with a Major in Accounting or Finance
  • Post-graduate studies in finance (Professional Certifications)


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Financial modeling & Capital budgeting
  • Strong analytical & communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of internal control and accounting practices, including budgeting, costing, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent data presentation skills and ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, tact, patience, diplomacy, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP

Minimum Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience
